Believe In More Advocacy
More than survival. More than emergency aid. More than temporary solutions. We believe God desires to partner with us for holistic, systemic, and long-term change that builds flourishing communities. To celebrate World Refugee Day this year, we are organizing virtual meetings with Members of Congress and/or their staff to advocate for safety, shelter, and better futures for our immigrant and refugee neighbors both in the U.S. and abroad.
We will be hosting a series of virtual meetings over the week of June 22-26. If you’ve joined us in signing a letter or making a phone call to your congressional office, we are so, so thankful, and it makes a difference. But the most effective way to advocate is to engage personally, in real time, with your Member of Congress and/or their staff.

- Virtual Advocacy Training: June 12, 12:00-1:00 pm EST
- Congressional Meetings: June 22-26
Participants will be sent a schedule of their congressional meetings at least a week in advance. You don’t need to be an expert — you just need to care.
These meetings are a group project, so make sure you invite your friends, Good Neighbor Teammates, Sunday School class, or small group to sign up as well.
