Across the United States, families are being impacted by immigration enforcement actions that raise serious concerns about constitutionally-protected due process for both citizens and immigrants, safety and human dignity. Law-abiding residents are being terrorized, innocent breadwinners detained and families torn apart. In Minnesota, federal immigration agents detained dozens of lawfully present refugees this month, including children. This is an escalation that is expected to expand across the nation, impacting hundreds of thousands of refugees — including over 17,000 being served by World Relief.
In this timely virtual townhall, World Relief and partners will share what is happening, why it matters and how the church can respond with wisdom, compassion and courageous action.
