Get the Welcoming the Stranger Course!
World Refugee Day provides a special opportunity for your church team to learn how God is at work in Houston through global communities sprouting up from American soil.
We're witnessing one of the most significant cultural moments in history unfold: Over 110 million people forced to flee their homes, desperately seeking refuge—more than any other time in human history. Many of those include the tens of thousands of refugees resettled by the United States every year, and the historic number of immigrants seeking a new American life.
Hear from Cindy Wu, Matthew Soerens, and Daniel Yang for how your church and network can understand the current issues in immigration through a biblical and theological lens to form a missional imagination for the challenges and opportunities before you.
Meet local Houston ministries that are equipping churches to be on the frontlines of refugee resettlement, immigrant ministry, church planting, multi-ethnic church leadership, and more!
